Minhaj Women League organizes Flood moot
A four member delegation of top religious leaders of Norway, headed by Pastor Trygve Brekke, the head of International Relations, and other members, Stefan Brekke, Arnold Kristoffersen, and Reidun Kristoffersen visited Main Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 12th October 2010 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Ms Sumaira Rafaqat said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave special instructions and ordered thousands of volunteers and workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran International to devote themselves to the cause of rescue, relief and final rehabilitation of the flood victims. In compliance with Shaykh-ul-Islam’s orders, MWF carried out relief and rescue operations at a massive scale.
A marriage ceremony was held in Minhaj Tent Settlement in Akora Khattak under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation on October 11, 2010. The venue was decorated very beautifully. Director of MWF Sayyid Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, provincial Amir Mushtaq sahib, Tariq Naqshbandi, Khawaja Muhammad Ashraf, Engineer Afzal Ghous, Muhammad Tariq, Sayyid Altaf Hussain Shah, Asim Ameer Khan, and Khalid Durrani participated in the ceremony. The 500 guests including flood affectees of Charsadda and relatives of brides and grooms also attended the ceremony.

‘BE HALAL’ EXHIBITION
A six-member delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Berlin paid a visit to the central secretariat of MQI in Lahore on October 21, 2010. The delegation consisted of Faiz Ahmad, Khizer Hayat Tarer, presidents of MQI Germany and Majlis-e-Shura, Khushnood Ahmad, Munir Ahmad Tarrer, Umer Hayat Tarrer and Muhammad Munir Tarar.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council organized “Farid-e-Millat seminar” on the occasion of birth anniversary of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s revered father Hazrat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri. Amir-e-Tehreek Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani presided over the seminar, while a large number of religious scholars including Allama Pir Tabassum Owaisi, Sajjada-e-Nasheen Ali Pur Chatta Allama Pir Ghulam Rasool Owaisi, Allama Prof Abdur Rehman, Allama Sayyid Farhat Hussain Shah, Dr Ali Akber Al-Azhari, Allama Zahoor Ahmad Faiz, respected Mashaykh and central leaders of MQI attended the seminar.
Shaykh-ul-Islam instructed the workers to do much-needed self-introspection if they displayed negligence while working for the cause of religion. He said that it was time for repentance and seeking Allah’s forgiveness for our faults lest we should deviate from His Path.
The central ceremony marking the foundational day of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) was held on October 6, 2010 in the central secretariat of MQI. Acting Secretary General of MQI Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz and MSM president Tajammul Hussain Inqilabi were the guests of honour on the occasion. The proceedings of the ceremony got underway with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Khalid Saeed Kazmi followed by Naat.
Some days ago a person gave some blasphemous comments about Sayyidna Siddiq Akbar (R.A) and Sayyidna Farooq Azam (R.A) on a Private tv channel in London. In response to this, Shaykhul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered serires of lectures. He gave very sound arguments and strongly condemned from the Top level books of Shia Literature about the most dignified personalities of the Ummah.
The clouds of despondency, lawlessness and hopelessness that hover over the world of Islam in general and Pakistan in particular have both historic and contemporary reasons including our own mistakes and conspiracies by ‘others’. But no student of history can say that these conditions have been created for the first time. Such critical stages have been a recurring phenomenon in Islamic history as has been the case with other nations.
Addressing the participants of the seminar, Pir Khalil-ur-Rehman Chishti said that it was the prayer of Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri that Allah blessed the Muslim Umma with Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He imparted excellent moral and spiritual training to his son and prepared him for the challenging role of guiding the Umma in times of turbulence and crises.
On the occasion of the Eid ul Fitr, Minhaj Woman League France organized a very warmful Eid Milan Party on 26th September. The program was hosted by Mrs Mumtaz Malik. It began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and followed by a nasheed which was read by Gul-e-Minhaj. The main point of this program was to collect as much as possible donations for Pakistan Flood victims. There were a grand buffet and games for children.
On September 26, 2010, an inaugural ceremony of 40-day Irfan-ul-Quran Course was held in Numal Sharif under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, which was attended by a large number of women and students from the area. Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate, central Secretary General of Minhaj Women League and Sadaf Iqbal were the guests of honour on the occasion. Sayyida Misbah Afzal delivered the welcome remarks. The second annual Hajj training camp in District Lodhran was held in Shaheed Muhammad Saddiq Kanju Hall of the District council under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lodhran, which was attended by a large number of intending pilgrims. Malik Aslam Hammad, Rana Muhammad Zahir, Ch Abdul Ghaffar Sumbal, Malik Sultan, Umer Farooq and youths of MYL played important role in the conduct of the camp.
On the special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran spent their Eid Day with the flood victims as mark of solidarity and sympathy with them. Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated on September 11 throughout the world including Pakistan. In addition to spending three days of Eid with the flood affectees, MQI leaders, volunteers, workers, member of relief committee and medical teams also continued the relief operations in those areas.
In the light of special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League launched relief operations at a wider scale. Secretary General of Women League convened a meeting of working council of MWL and worked out a course of action through consultation.
