Three-day celebrations were held in the International Islamic University on the occasion of its silver jubilee in Islamabad. On February 21, 2010, ‘Rahmatul Lil Alameen Conference” was organized as the part of the celebrations in which Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, addressed on special invitation.
The 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated across the world including Pakistan with traditional fervour and utmost reverence on February 19, 2010. In addition to workers and associates of MQI, the members of Christian community also organized a birthday ceremony of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri as a mark of tribute for his services rendered for the promotion of peace, interfaith dialogue, protection of minorities’ rights and harmony.

On the occasion of the 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran International organized a prayer night in the Suffa Hall of its central secretariat on February 19, 2010. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; president of MQI's Supreme Council presided over the programme, whereas Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated with traditional fervour and utmost devotion and respect befitting the occasion. On February 19, 2010, birthday ceremony took place in the Minhaj University Lahore, which was jointly presided over by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; president of MQI's Supreme Council and Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; president of Federal Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
A dignified ceremony of Quaid Day was held in Minhaj College for Women Township Lahore. Respected Ms. Fiza Hussain Qadri honored the students and administration of the college by her special arrival. Nazima Women League, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Miss Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate, Ms. Shumaila Abbas and Research scholar Ms. Fareeda Sajjad were also the respected guests on this prestigious occasion.

Preparations for International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference begin
Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council hosted a special moot on February 18, 2010, to pay tribute to scholarly, intellectual and research contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the occasion of his 59th birthday in the Hamdard Hall on the Litton Road, Lahore. The other major highlight of the programme was the inauguration of Shaykh-ul-Islam's new book based on the collection of Hadith entitled "Hidayat-ul-Ummah ala Minhaj il Quran was-Sunnah ".
Minhaj College for Women organized an Inter-Collegiate competitions on the eve of annual celebration of Quaid’s birthday from Feb 16th to 18th, 2010 under the supervision of Bazm-e-Minhaj. A large number of students participated from different educational institutions of Lahore.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organizes Ziafat e Milad
When intellectual and revivalist movements come of age, they survive beyond time through innovative measures. Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) is lucky to have a forum like Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) who are a collection of innovative people dedicated to publicity and promotion of scholarly and intellectual works of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
With the moon-sighting of the holy month of Rabi' al-Awwal, the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) inaugurated first of its Ziafat-e-Milad programme on 16, Februrary, 2010. The ritual that is observed with great dedication and devotion by the members and the affiliates of MQI is celebrating and organizing the Ziafat-e-Milad programmes every evening until the International Milad conference is held on the 12 night of the sacred Rabi' al-Awwal at the Minar-e-Pakistan sight every year.
The long anticipated time of Mawlid un Nabi (blessings and peace be upon him) has finally come. To mark and celebrate the coming of the beautiful month of Rabi ul Awwal, a Peace Walk was organised to demonstrate the peaceful message of Islam. This was held on the 14th February 2010, by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark, with participation and cooperation from several other mosques and Islamic organisations including Muslim Cultural Institute (vesterbro), Islamisk Kultucenter (Amager), Dansk Pakistansk Kulturforening (Ishøj) and Islam Forum Tåstrup.
On the second day of week-long celebrations currently underway at COSIS (Minhaj University, Lahore) in connection with the 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Naat & English declamation contests were held on February 9, 2010.
On the occasion of the 59th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Directorate of Training organized a Quran Khawani and special prayer for good health, safety and long life of Shaykh-ul-Islam, which was attended by Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Rana Frooq Mahood, Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate and other staff members.
