Addressing the MSM National Students Convention as a keynote speaker, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the students can change the destiny of the nation. ‘They are the future leaders and ray of hope for our people and we have great faith in their abilities,’ he said.
The marriage ceremony of Bisma Amjad, the daughter of Shaheed Tanzila Amjad who was martyred in the Model Town carnage, took place at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. In a major ceremony held at the Minhaj ul Quran secretariat, Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri announced the appointment of Rana Waheed Shahzad, Dr Imran Yunus and Haroon Sani as the central president, secretary general and senior vice-president of Minhaj Youth League respectively.

He said that the entire ruling period of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was marked by truth, tolerance and justice.

Translation of Irfan-ul-Quran, the translation of the Holy Quran done by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has been published in 11 languages. These languages are Urdu, English, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Danish, Hindi, Pashto, Sindhi, Bengali and Kashmiri, whereas the translations in the French and Gujarati (Indian) languages are under the process of publication.
The 10-day Quran Learning Course held under the banner of the MQI Department of Courses came to an end. A ceremony was held at the conclusion of the course in which 300 men and women who completed the course were given certificates.

Students’ parliament meeting of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) was held at the central secretariat, which was attended by the central, and provincial office-holders including those of the educational institutions, universities and colleges. The meeting decided to hold an All-Pakistan Students Convention on the 29th of January in Lahore in which thousands of students from different parts of the country would take part.
An important aspect of the International Book Fair was a stall that exhibited the books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which was arranged by Minhaj ul Quran Publications and MSM Karachi through a collaboration.
Naib Nazim-e-Ala Coordination Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam has said that MQI is a movement working for the character building of the succeeding generations. He said that there is a dire need of the hour that we protect our faith, equip our children and youth with purposeful education, and take steps to spread the light of knowledge.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Interfaith Relations arranged a ceremony to celebrate Christmas. The event was attended by a large number of men, women and children belonging to the Christian community. The Christian faith leaders including Pastor Anwar, Pastor Yaqoob, Pastor Liaqat, and Pastor Emmanuel were also in attendance.
