Purity of intentions at heart of sacrifice: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
Addressing an inaugural ceremony of an Islamic centre in the Katy city of the American state of Texas, MQI patron-in-chief and the founding leader Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Islam teaches us about establishment of an international brotherhood and a peaceful global society. He said that Islam has particularly ordained about taking care of the less privileged sections of society, guaranteed the religious freedoms and empowerment of the minority communities.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj Health Care London welcomed the community to a free Community Family Day and Health Fair/ Mela on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at its UK Head office in Forest Gate. A special ceremony was held in Jilani Park Lahore to mark the National Minorities Day on August 11 as part of Independence Day celebrations. The ceremony, themed as ‘we are one nation under our flag’ was attended by the leaders of all faiths. It was jointly hosted by Directorate of MQI Interfaith Relations, Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Baba Guru Nanak Ji Welfare Society, Cathedral Church Lahore, Presbyterian Church, Sri Krishna Temple and Balmeeka Swami Temple Lahore.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Lahore launched the tree plantation drive today as part of the 71st independence anniversary celebrations by planting saplings under the slogan of ‘Green Pakistan, Clean Pakistan’. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, MQI Lahore leader Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Sanaullah Khan, Rana Tajammul, Younis Noshahi and others planted the saplings on the occasion.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed a conference on "Moral Excellence and Spiritual Advancement" in Sweden as part of his European tour. Renowned Syrian scholar Shaykh Taj al-Din was the guest of honour at the occasion.
A conference on the "Moral Excellence and Spiritual Advancement" was held in Malmö during the stay of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The conference was attended by the workers of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and the members of the Pakistani diaspora community in a large number. The chief highlight of the event was the special address of Shaykh-ul-Islam in which he explored the process of moral and spiritual development of man.

A ceremony marking the 27th death anniversary of Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A), spiritual patron of MQI, was held here at the Ghousia shrine in Township, Lahore, on August 6. Pir al-Sayyid Mahmood Muhyiuddin al-Qadri al-Gillani started the proceedings of the anniversary. The grave of Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani was bathed with rose water, and Fateha was done.

Certificate and prize distributing ceremony was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International in “Al-Noor Islamic center” in Connecticut USA on August 4, 2018. The ceremony started with recitation of the holy Quran by Fatimah Meraj and Adila Sharif. Haji Ghulam Sarwar presided over the program, whereas a large number of people attended it, and especially parents of students attended the whole program.
