On Saturday 9th of June, MYLUK-S Huddersfield study circle sisters' organized a gathering in the celebration of the Beloved Prophet’s (PBUH) Night Journey and Heavenly Ascent. In recognition of services of Minhaj ul Quran International for promotion of peace and interfaith dialogue at national and global level, the government of Pakistan has nominated Mr. Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of MQI’s Interfaith Relations, as a member of Advisory Council of Ministry of National Harmony. Mr. Raza has also been nominated as member of Evacuee Trust Property Board.

Monthly spiritual gathering of Minhaj-ul-Quran International for the month of June 2012 was held in the central secretariat of MQI in Lahore. Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall) and Saint John’s Church held a national and cultural event on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee of the UK’s Queen on 4th June, 2012. The event was organized to bring all the communities together as a demonstration of peaceful co-existence and harmonious integration.
The speakers paid rich tributes to the services and contributions of Sayyidna Hazrat Ali to the cause of Islam. They threw light on various aspects of his blessed life. Quoting various Hadith, they said that according to the saying of the Holy Prophet (SAW) only the believer would love Hazrat Ali (RA), while the hypocrite would nourish prejudice for him.
Association of Muslims of North America (AMNA) and Minhaj-ul-Quran International USA hosted a grand Peace for Humanity and Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) conference at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on June 3, 2012. The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was the keynote speaker at the event.
Addressing the Workers Convention, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz said that the people of Pakistan had been shackled in the web of so-called democracy. He said that capitalist democracy and trade politics were at the climax in Pakistan at the moment. He said that barring a few people, majority of those in the saddle or seeking to get into positions of power did not have any character and were not loyal to the masses. He said that people were at fault because they elected the same breed of politicians over and over. He said that people voted as well as abused the politicians, a practice, which needed to be changed.
College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences organized a two-day spiritual Itikaf for its students on May 16-17, 2012. Such events are part of regular educational activities of the College. All teachers and students enthusiastically participated in the Itikaf. The activities of Itikaf began with the pre-dawn prayer followed by Dhiker and Naat gatherings.

He said that the military was a patriotic institution of the country that was responsible for national defence.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Mianwali chapter) held a Workers Convention in Kamal English Grammar School in Mianwali on June 1, 2012. The moot was part of MQI’s efforts to spread public awareness about the lethality of the current electoral system, which was at heart of problems facing the people of Pakistan. Dr Muhammad Anwar Mehravi, Amir of MQI (Mianwali chapter), presided over the programme, whereas the distinguished guests included Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, acting Secretary General of MQI, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Sardar Umar Daraz, Haji Khursheed Anwar Khan and others.
