The Status of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Light of Holy Quran
Shaykh-ul-Islam described that Allah (S.W.T) speaks to His Prophets who pass on the Devine message to the people. He emphasized that ‘Risalat’ is the first step or pillar to comprehend ‘Tawheed’ (Monotheism) and our beloved Prophet is our guide and our teacher. Without a firm belief in our Holy Prophet and without understanding the significance of ‘Risalat’, it is impossible to even imagine understanding ‘Tawheed’ (Oneness of God).
The grand finale of the Muslim Youth League UK – Sisters Executive Tour took place in Birmingham. The Birmingham sisters had made all the necessary arrangements at the Saltley Leisure Centre.
Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of Interfaith Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, attended the funeral rites of distinguished national hero Group Captain (Rtd.) Cecil Chaudhry, which were performed in Lahore Sacred Heart Cathedral Church. Bishop Subtain Shah, Bishop Andrew Francis, and Bishop Joseph Coats held the prayer ceremony for late Mr. Chaudhry.
On Sunday 15th April 2012 the Pearls of Knowledge class organized a Mawlid-un-Nabi to commemorate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW) under the guidance of Allama Abdul Saeed, scholar of Minhaj ul Quran Bradford.
Shaykh-ul-Islam began his lecture with a detailed linguistic definition of ‘Islam’ that revolves around the terms of ‘Peace’, ‘Safety’ and ‘Security’. He then rendered a beautiful explanation of the three levels of Islam, viz. ‘Islam’, ‘Iman’, and ‘Ihsan’, focusing on the compassionate, merciful and humane nature of Islam.
Building bridges key to promoting peace: Interfaith moot
Pakistan is a land of peace lovers. If you extend respect to one another, it leads to promotion of peace, tranquility and harmony in society. No religion of the world sanctions the use of violence and hatred. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has rendered a great service to humanity by initiating dialogue and engagement among the followers of different religions. His religious edict against terrorism, militancy and suicide bombing has provided intellectual and practical guidance to the world. His services for peace and promotion of interfaith dialogue are praise worthy.
‘Baisakhi’, the religious and cultural festival of the Sikh religion was celebrated on April 13, 2012 in Hassan Abdal. Thousands of Sikh pilgrims including a large number of devotees from India attended the celebrations. The event was organized under the banner of Evacuee Property Trust Board, Government of Pakistan. Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of Interfaith Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, was one of the invitees to the occasion.
Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of Interfaith Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, held a meeting with Advisor to Prime Minister on National Harmony Dr Paul Bhatti and gifted him the fatwa of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The meeting took place in the office of the Advisor in Islamabad.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri advised every worker of MQI to donate only one per cent (1/100) of his/her monthly income to MQI. So every worker of every level must plan this great service.

Shaykh-ul-Islam to deliver special address to Workers Convention today
The annual 8th Workers Convention of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held around the world on April 8, 2012. The main ceremony was hosted by the Lahore chapter of MQI at the central secretariat in Lahore. In addition to the main ceremony, hundreds of other conventions were held in different cities around the world including 222 cities of Pakistan where the participants attended the proceedings through Minhaj TV. The chief highlight of the Workers Convention was the keynote address of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Under the leadership of the local coordinator, Anbreen Hussain, the Newham sisters had made all the necessary arrangements at the Minhaj-ul-Quran International Centre on Romford Road. Present on the MYL-S Executive panel were Ambreen Mehmood (President), Sweba Majid Khan (Vice President), Jabeen Ali Tahiri (General Secretary), Somia Zaman (Human Resources), Fathema Khan (Finance), and Marinah Syed Shah (Public Relations).
After a boost from the Muslim Youth League UK – Sisters executive team, on Saturday 7th of April MYL-S Huddersfield had their first sisters’ circle. A total of 15 sisters attended. The circle commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Sana Mazhar followed by Salutations on the Beloved Prophet (PBUH) by Fazeela Shafi.
