‘Paigam-e-Imam Hussain Conference (RA) to be held today
Addressing a joint rally of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Lahore chapters) against the unprovoked NATO attack on Pakistani checkpost in Mohmand Agency, Irshad Ahmad Tahir, Amir of MQI Lahore, said that the entire nation was unanimous in their condemnation of the aggression by the NATO forces.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Victoria chapter) held the Zikr-e-Hussain (RA) conference on 3rd December 2011. The purpose of this spiritual gathering was to pay tributes to the great sacrifice of the grandson of Holly Prophet (SAW), Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). The intention was to promote the spirit of association and love with Allah Almighty and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his kindred.

A five member delegation of religious leaders of Norway, headed by Pastor Trygve Brekke,the head of International Relations, and other members, Reidun Kristoffersen, Barbro Brekke, Arnold Kristoffersen, and Arve Odegard visited Main Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 28th November, 2011 at 11.30 am. The delegation was accompanied by Dr Marqus Fida (chairman of International Gospel Mission), Mr. Suleman Amant, Mr. Javed Akhtar and Mr. Nadeem Sadiq.

Central leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Talat Naqvi and Umar Cheema called on Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, central Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in central secretariat of MQI today. Dr Abbasi was assisted by Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Brig. (r) Dr Obaidullah Ranjha, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, and Jawad Hamid in the talks, while PTI delegation included Khalid Miraaj and Sardar Kamil Umar.
Female students ready to play their role to change corrupt system
To condole the sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran (TMQ) and Pakistan AwamiTehreek (PAT) led by Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, Secretary General TMQ, called on Governor Punjab Sardar Muhammad Latif khosa, and expressed their sorrow and grief over Begum Bhutto's sad departure from life that is an irreparable loss of PPP workers and Party leadership. The delegation offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, also conveyed the grief of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s sorrowful departure.
Like previous years, collective sacrifice of animals took place at hundreds of places across the country under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. On the special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj Welfare Foundation made arrangements for sacrifice of animals at 300 places in the country including a dozen of places in the flood hit areas of Sindh. The meat of sacrificed animals was distributed among the deserving and poor people to make them celebrate the festive occasion.
