On 10th of September Eid day was celebrated in Austria. A large number of Pakistanis were gathered at Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre to attend the Eid prayer. Allama Hafiz Iqbal Azam delivered a detailed speech on the topic of Infaaq fi Sabeel Allah and emphasized on the importance of helping the needy people of society. He also urged the audience to help the flood victims in Pakistan by generous donations.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri urges the US Gov to intervene to stop 'Burn Quran Day' in a letter to Obama
In the letter Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri wrote that "If this event is allowed to take place it will not be less than ‘9/11’ in the sense of its consequences and after-effects." He wrote that "It will not only hurt the feelings of 1.5 billion Muslims but also of billions of peace-loving people belonging to different religions and cultures of the world. Such an act is deeply offensive and will increase divisions and hatred."
The URI Pakistan held a demonstration rally at Lahore Press Club against the Burning of “Holy Quran” on 9th of September 2010.The protest was attended by Bishop Samuel Robert Azriah, Moderator Church of Pakistan, Pakistan Catholic Bishop Conference, NCJP, National Council Church of Pakistan, Minhaj ul Quran International and other civil society organizations. All participants condemned this plan, calling it a work of a perverted mindset.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that every act, which is instrumental in winning the pleasure of Allah is part of worship and giving up every such act, which results in earning annoyance of Allah Almighty is likewise part of the worship paradigm irrespective of whether the nature of such act is familial, social, political, religious or economic. So much so that every gesture towards humankind based on goodness enjoys the status of worship in the Islamic teachings.
On the special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the third caravan of relief goods of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (Lodhran) left for the flood affected areas (i.e. Rojhan and Rajan pur) under the leadership of Malik Hammad, president of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Lodhran). The caravan consists of two truckloads of 300 bags of flour, 300 kg sugar, 100 kg rice, 320 liter of milk, 200 kg of ghee, 14000 packets of biscuits, 200 clothes, 50 beds, 100 liter pure water, medicine and cash amounts.
Keeping up its tradition, the Minhaj Reconciliation Council arranged an iftar party this year as well on September 7, 2010. The party was arranged in the mosque. Non-Muslims too were invited to attend, in addition to the Muslim members.
On the 7th of September 2010, (27th Ramadan), Minhaj ul Quran International (Nelson and Burnley) lost a flower from its garden of roses in the person of auntie Mumtaz. To some she was a daughter, for others she was a sister, a mother, a grandmother and to us she was our beloved auntie. Auntie Mumtaz was a dedicated worker of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson and Burnley.

Shaykh-ul-Islam to Address on Ary News Tonight
Iftikhar Shah Bokahri, Director of MWF, has said that more than 12000 workers and hundreds of volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation are working for the rehabilitation of the flood victims on the instructions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The Foundation has so far spent Rs. 120 million on the rehabilitation of the flood affectees. 300 families have been given Rs. 15000 each, while 170 trucks of different goods have been dispatched to the flood affected areas.
In the light of instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League has started its’12-day long relief Itikaf’, which is aimed at generating funds for the welfare of the flood victims in order to enable them to celebrate Eid. Corner meetings and field visits have formally been started from August 31 onwards. The targets were fixed and ways and means were determined for the achievement of these targets in these meetings. A viable course of action was also mapped out for the next 12 days.
Shaykh-ul-Islam declared to accommodate 500 children in the Orphan Care Home (Aghosh) and provide for 20, 000. Given the enormity of the challenge, MWL has established different sub-committees to systematically streamline the working and raise the necessary funds. It has started door to door visits and set up flood relief camps in the country.
Directorate of Dawa of Minhaj-ul-Quran International launched 7-day Irfan-ul-Quran Course in 20 cities of Punjab in the holy month of Ramadan. The cities included Lahore, Muridkay, Gujranwala, Shakargarh, Norowal, Sambrial, Wazirabad, Mandi Bahuddin, Chakwwal, Haveeli Lakha, Cheecha Watni, Mian Channu, Khanewal, Gojra, Jahanian, Multan, Dunypur, Lohdhran, and Layya. Thousands of people would attend these courses after the Fajr prayers.
After the cancellation of Itikaf 2010 which has been held for last 20 years under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, hundreds of people, who were to attend the Itikaf City, left for the flood affected areas on the special instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. These volunteers took part in a one-day training camps held in Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Abotabad, and left for the flood hit areas to serve the flood affectees.

In the wake of unprecedented floods that have wreaked havoc across Pakistan besides rendering 20 million people homeless and causing damages of billions of dollars, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has declared to cancel Itikaf 2010. The Itikaf has been held annually for last 20 years under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, which is attended by thousands of people.

Hilfe für Pakistan (Help for Pakistan) was the Motto of this Program, which was organized and live transmitted on German TV 26.08.2010 at 20:15 Hours. The program was conducted by Peter Frey (Chief editor) and Mr. Markus Lanz. From the Pakistani community Minhaj-ul-Quran International Berlin was represented through Mr. Faiz Ahmed (President), Mr. Nadeem Shah (Sr. Vice President), Mr. Mohammad Irshad (General Secretary), Mrs. Naheed Imran (representing Minhaj Women League).
On 7 August, the UK's first Anti-Terror Camp was held in the county of Warwickshire, led by prominent Pakistani scholar Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri, with the aim of protecting youth from radicalisation by presenting them with arguments that they can use to counter extremists.
