Warm welcome accorded to Raja Muhammad Jamil Ajmal, the new Director Foreign Affairs
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has appointed Raja Muhammad Jamil Ajmal as the new Director of Foreign Affairs Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). A welcome lunch was served in the honour of Mohtram Raja Muhammad Jamil Ajmal in the MQI Secretariat, on 28 April, 2010 as he took over the responsibilities.
By the Grace of Allah Almighty, the blessings of His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), and special spiritual benevolence of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Muslim Youth League London held a conference in MQI London, in the remembrance of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Gilani.
The central MWL team comprising Nazima WL Miss Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate and Miss Sajida Sadiq Naib Nazima MWL paid a two-day detailed visit to its Gujranwala local chapter and all its PP organizations on 28 and 29th April 2010. The visit aimed at monitoring the pace, quality as well as quantity of the output of PP chapters, measuring and evaluating their achievements of V-12 priorities
Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri achieves another milestone
Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of Federal Council and member of Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has been reelected unopposed to the position of Post-Graduate Student Representative and a member of Board of Studies (Syndicate of the University) for year 2010-11. This would be the second continuous stint of Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in this position. He got elected to this position last year.

A National Conference against load-shedding, dearness and corruption was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at the central secretariat of MQI on April 26, 2010, which was attended by leaders and representatives of more than 100 organizations and parties. After thorough deliberations on the issues, the Conference adopted the following communiqué unanimously.

Reporters learned that their government had intercepted a secret message circulating within Tehrik-e-Taliban, the most prominent of several militant groups trying to overthrow the government in Islamabad.
