Mr. Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry, Mr. Manzar Khan from MQI-USA and Muhammad Sidique, executive member from MQI Norway, visited the central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on January 23, 2010. Upon the arrival of the distinguished guests, the staff members of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs including Assistant Director DFA Rana Nafees Hussain and Secretary Welfare DFA Mr. Mian Muhammad Ishtiaq warmly welcomed them at the reception gate.
On the 23rd January 2010 the Center of Minhaj ul Quran International Denmark welcomed a delegation of the European Peace & Integration Council consisting of Director Ejaz Ahmed Warraich and Abdul Arshed for a two day visit. The main focus of the tour was to initiate a similar council in Denmark that would work for integration, social welfare, and local working assistance.
The majority of right-minded Muslims in the world condemn terrorism and accept that it has no link with Islam. A meeting of the Women Mushawarti Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran central secretariat on 17 January, 2010. President Women League Ms Fatima Mash`hadi presided while Secretary General Ms Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate conducted the meeting.

On Thursday January 14, a seminar took place at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam titled ‘Challenges for Muslim Youth’, organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League Netherlands. The chief guest of this evening was Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, son of the renowned scholar Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He urged the youth present there to work hard for promotion of a culture of democracy and education and resist radicalism in all its manifestations.
On January 13, 2010, a high powered delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, led by Amir-e-Tehreek Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, called on Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday and condoled the death of his wife with him. The members of the delegation were Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz (acting Secretary General of MQI), G.M. Malik (Director of Foreign Affairs), Muhammad Jawad Hamid (Director of Events Management), Muhammad Shahid Latif (Director of Minhaj Education Society), Haji Muhammad Ishaq and Inamullah Khan.
