Shedule Daura Sahih Muslim Sharif 2007....
Under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Birmingham, the second and third sitting of three-day Daura Sahih Muslim was held in the central mosque Ghamgole Sharif, Birmingham on October 20, 2007 in which hundreds of scholars including Mufti Gul Rahman, Abdul Rasool Mansoor, Mufti Muhammad Ayyub Hazarvi, Allama Bustan Qadri, Allama Niaz Ahmad Siddiqui and Abdul Ghafoor Haidari participated. Famous Pakistani actor Firdaus Jamal not only listened to 10-hour long discussion but also had the honour of reciting the Naat during the start of first sitting.
Faith leaders attend interfaith event at the Minhaj ul Qur`an Mosque on Romford Road in London, United Kingdom on Thursday 18th October 2007. Faith leaders from the Faithful Friends of Newham organisation joined the interfaith dinner attended by religious, business and political leaders including chairman of the Newham Alliance of Islamic Association's Councillor Dr Zulfiqar Ali and Councillor Abdul Karim Sheikh. Some of the faith leaders included Reverend Patrick Mossap of Forest Gate Church, Father Matlub Barnabas of St Emanuel's Church in Upton Lane and Al-Haj Muhammad Siddiq chairman of Barking Muslim Association.
President European Council respectable Arshad Shah visited the Head Office of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 14th October, 2007 (Eid Day). He met with Hazoor Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri and discuss different issues regarding MQI Europe . He also have detailed sitting with Nazim e Aa`la Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, Naib Nazim e Aa`la Shaikh Zahid Fayyaz, Director DFA G.M. Malik and Deputy Director Shakeel Ahmed Tahir along with Their team welcomes him at DFA-Office and gave a detailed briefing has been given to respected guest about the activities of MQI. He visited various departments of central secretariat of Minhaj ul Quran international.
The last day of the fabulous, superb and spiritual holy I`tikaf gathering has at last approached. Mutakifeen never wanted it to knock at their door steps as they were enjoying their cherishing and wonderful time in the company of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Though gloomy with the thoughts to go away from their spiritual guide yet they were congratulating one another for the blessed time they spend in the company of Shaykh-ul-Islam and observe the Sunnah of I`tikaf and benefited from it the most.
The 4th day of sister's I'tikaaf 2007 was also a great inspiration. Alhamdulilah, this I'tikaaf camp is a great training procedure in which thousands of women gain knowledge and inspiration for Islam. A combined schedule of training Halaqa jaat, Mehfil e Naat, Collective prayer and much more other things make this I'tikaaf very successful. However, the most effective thing in this Annual Spiritual event is the Presence of HUZOOR SHAYKH UL ISLAM Dr. MUHAMMAD TAHIR UL QADRI.
By the grace of Allah and the Waseela of Holy Prophet PBUH, the city of Itikaaf is really the symbol of a great collective effort for the training of Muslims at the center of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, under the world leading and shining personality of Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri. Thousands of men and women come here only for the will of Allah (SWT) and Rasoolullah (SAW), and to learn the real thoughts of Islam.
It is wonderful to be here, it is very pleasant or more than that, it is fabulous, says Habib-ul-Allah, A Mutakif from Karachi. We have been coming here for the last 17 years; it was the time when the first phase of Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque was under its construction. It was the first collective I'tikaf when we had water in our camps due to heavy rains in the season.
The 5th wonderful and jubilant day of holy Itikaf gathering started with the same full enthusiasm by the supreme blessings of God and special favour of the holy Prophet (SAW). After Fajr prayer, the Muatakifeen continued to sit in their lines keeping themselves busy in Individual Zikr and tasbihaat till dawn prayer. The atmosphere appears to be more soothing and blissful than ever before. It seemed as if angels had come down to earth and busy to strengthen their relation with their Lord and seeking the glee of Him.
It was about 4:00 A.M., before Morning Prayer, when I saw a young man with black glasses trying to make ablution. A young man with him was trying to assist. After making ablution, his assistant took him to front lines of the mosque where he occupied his place closer to Shaykh-ul-Islam.
Along with the other routine activities, the most important thing on the 4th day was the Nikah ceremony of four couples that was read in the company of Shaykh-ul-Islam. Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi and Allama Muhammad Azad recited the Nikah speech and lead the other concerns.
Minahj-ul-Quran Inetrnational due to a large number of participants in Itikaf, faced the problem of shortage of teachers, they had to get the services of Minhajians along with other people who have got good understanding of Din.
By the Grace of Allah SWT, and the Wasila of the Holy prophet PBUH, the 2nd day of sister's Itikaf was successfully started with the setteled routine of Tahajjud prayer at 3.15am. Thousands of Motakifaat were woken in the early hours of the morning even though they only slept for one and a half hours due to the late night lecture of Huzoor Shaykh ul Islam finishing at 1.45 am at night.
The City of I'tikaf was divided into two parts that consist on eighteen blocks. For the very first time in the history of I'tikaf, Minhaj Cricket Ground adjacent to Minhaj mosque was being used for I'tikaf. All the blocks set up there had been filled before the mid-day prayer.
With the Grace of Allah Almighty and the Waseela of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the great event of Itikaf 2007 began on the evening of the 19th Ramadan ul Mubarik, 2nd October 2007 at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Headquarters, Lahore, Pakistan. Itikaf is a time where during the last ten days of Ramadan, all Muslims are encouraged to sit in seclusion and spend their time in the worship of Allah (SWT) and fulfill the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Alhumdulilah with the Praise and Blessings of Almighty Allah the annual Itikaf gathering has again begun at the Minhaj-ul-Quran headquarters in Lahore, starting on the evening of the 19th of Ramadan, 2nd October 2007. Every year thousands of mutakifeen flock to the Minhaj-ul-Quran mosque in Lahore to sit in the ten days of seclusion. They travel from the length and breadth of the country as well as from the rest of the world.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League held the 3rd Annual Syeda Kainat (RA) Conference at Al-Hamrah Hall, Lahore on 26th September; 2007. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the magnificent Conference. A vast majority of women from various sections of society including the deans and heads of different departments of Universities and colleges were present to attend the conference.
