The construction work of the second central part of the building dedicated for Gosha-e-Durood of Minhaj-ul-Quran International known as Minaret as-Salam was inaugurated. A ceremony was held in the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on Friday 1st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, September 14, 2007. This prayer ceremony was held at the time of laying the foundation-stone of the minaret of Gosha-e-Durood.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and other notables of the Tehreek and guests from across Saudi Arabia attended the Nikah ceremony. It is indeed a great honour and special blessing of Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) that this Nikah ceremony was held in the sacred city of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

All religions of the world condemn terrorism and extremism and are in favour of peace and harmony. Thus those committing acts of terrorism in the name of religion are actually misguiding people and bringing their respective religion in disrepute. These views were expressed by Dr. Jochen Hippler, Professor of Political Science and International Relations in Germany, while delivering a guest lecture to the students of Political and Social Science Departments at the Minhaj University. The topic of his lecture was "Dialogue between Western and Muslim Societies".

Minhaj University declared its first ever B.A. results 2007 after being chartered by the government of Punjab. A splendid ceremony took place at the old campus of the University in Model Town, which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Dr Nazir Romani, while Provincial Education Minister Mr. Imran Masood was the chief guest at the occasion. Declaring the result Deputy Registrar G.M. Malik said that the pass percentage of students of B.A. stood at 67%. Rabia Haneef of Minhaj college for women, Hafiz Shakeel Ahmad of Minhaj College of Shariah and Modern Sciences and Zahara Iqbal of Minhaj college for women got first, second and third position respectively by scoring 578, 577 and 572 marks individually.
Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi Nazim-e-Aala Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Sajid Mehmood Bhatti Nazim Youth League, Miss Farrah Naz Nazima Women League paid a three days visit to attend a CD Exchange Programme and address a Spiritual Training Session in Karachi. They were given a warm welcome at Karachi Airport on 17th of August. The Workshop started at Minhaj Library adjacent to Rehmania Mosque, Tariq Road at 5 P.M. Nazim-e-aala chaired and presided over the workshop. The Nazims and Naib Nazims of 10 towns of Karachi, presidents of different UCs, and vast a majority of religious scholars, women, members of Youth League and Mustafvi Student Movement attended the workshop eagerly and enthusiastically. Qaisar Iqbal Qadri, Amir Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi, Athar Javid Qadri, Nazim Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi, Sayyad Zafar Iqbal, Saeed Qadri, Nazim Tanzimaat were also there to attend the workshop.
Minnhaj-ul-Quran Youth League held an important seminar "Youth Want Peace" at Ambassador Hotel on 12th of August on the occasion of world Youth day. Bilal Mustafvi chaired and headed the seminar. Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbassi Nazim-e-Aala Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Mr. Brain De Hunt, Principal officer of American Consulate Lahore, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti and G. M. Malik, director of Foreign Affairs Minhaj-ul-Quran International were the chief guests.
Allhamdulillah by the Grace of Almighty Allah and The blessings of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saww) Minhaj - ul - Quran Women League Oslo has organized a sewing course for the girls and also for women, so that they can get benefit from their free time in learning some skills which can be useful in their future life. A highly skilled teacher Respected Mrs Shehnaz butt sahiba� sewing diploma holder from Fauji Foundation Gujarat Pakistan is leading the course very successfully. The Girls has demanded to exceed the time period of the course. In these classes where we are giving them sewing skills, at the same time we are also having a chance to have a contact with new families� for giving them the introduction of Minhaj - ul - Quran International.
By the Grace and Blessings of Almighty Allah (swt) and His Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw)� the evening of saturday 11th august 2007 was an inspirational one as the annual Meeraj - un - Nabi (saw) programme organised by MInhaj - ul - Quran International Oslo took place in the Al Musrafa Hall. Masha Allah a large attendence of both men, women young and old gathered to participate in this programme.
The Holy Monthly Gathering arranged to send greetings upon the Holy Prophet (SAW) in collective form was held by Minhaj-ul-Quran International in the main lawn of the secretariat. An experienced member of Minhaj - ul - Quran International Haji Abdul Haqq (Father of Mr. Aslam Haqq from Norway)passes away and met his Lord on 2nd august .( Inna Lillah Wa Inna Elaihi Rajeun ) He was sick from some past time. Haji Abdul Haq joined Tehrek - e - Minhaj - ul - Quran in 1980 and became life member. His funeral prayer was offered in Miani sahib Graveyard. The delegate of Minhaj - ul - Quran International registered their humble presence. The delegate consists on DFA Director G M Malik, Nazim Lahore Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimor, Muhammad Usman Sialvi from Minhaj - ul - Quran Ulama Council and many others
