Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that accursed Yazid perpetrated extreme oppression on the Holy Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) family and committed the most heinous crime of human history to strengthen his grip on power. Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have enjoyed time-tested brotherly relations based on mutual respect and unanimity of views on issues of shared interest for the last seven decades. He said Saudi Arabia came to Pakistan's rescue during our difficult times, adding that there are no contentious issues between the brotherly countries that cannot be resolved through frank dialogue.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the International Quranic Recitation Course held under the banner of Directorate of Training of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council, has said that the Holy Quran is a manifesto of the entire humanity. He said the Divine Book is a treasure of wisdom and knowledge, stating that when we are connected with the Holy Quran, we not only become successful in this world but also in the hereafter.

The monthly spiritual gathering of Gosh-e-Durood was held on August 8 at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). Nazim-e-Aala Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Rana Muhammad Idrees, Muhammad Rafique Najam, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Allama Zaheer Ahmad Naqshbandi, and Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor attended the program in addition to the participants of Gosh-a-Durood.
A senior-level delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) led by Nazim-e-Aala Khurram Nawaz Gandapur condoled with Pir Sayyid Moin-ul-Haq and Pir Sayyid Qutb-ul-Haq in Golra Sharif, Islamabad, on the death of scholarly, spiritual and literary personality Hazrat Pir Shah Abdul Haq, popularly known as Lala Ji. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulates MWF on excellent arrangements on Eid
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Minhaj Welfare Foundation on making excellent arrangements for the collective sacrifice as well as the distribution of the meat among the deserving people during three days of Eid. He said sharing the happiness with the downtrodden sections of society is the essence of the sacrifice.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the Pakistani nation, expatriate community and the Muslims around the globe on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. In his message, Shaykh-ul-Islam said that Eid-ul-Adha taught the faithful to include the exploited and less-privileged sections of society in their happiness.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) distributed Qurbani meat to thousands of Syrian and Palestinian refugees, and needy people across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kashmir and Africa. The meat from the Qurbani was distributed among millions of people in these countries.
Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Director of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, has presented the report on collective sacrifice 2020 to MQI Supreme Council Chairman Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The report states that like the previous years, the technical services of the state-of-the-art slaughterhouse were hired to slaughter the animals. Hundreds of the trained volunteers were deputed to distribute the meat among the needy and deserving within the minimum possible time with the best quality control arrangements put in place.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the Muslim world on the auspicious occasion of Hajj. He said that pilgrimage is one of the great pillars of Islam and a symbol of the unity of the faithful. He said the practices performed as part of pilgrimage teach us equality, tolerance, moderation and peace. He said Hajj and sacrifice remind us of the great sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS).
