The 30th annual International Milad Conference was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International across 250 cities of Pakistan. This year, this Conference was unique and historic in the sense that love for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was expressed across the country in the form of 250 Milad gatherings in which hundreds of thousands of people participated. Millions of people attended the Milad Conference held in Bangalore (India) under the banner of the India chapter of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
Okara is an organizationally fertile district. On the 22nd of April on the instructions of General Secretary central Punjab Anila Ilyas, the district Okara president Mrs Zareen Akhtar organised a fruitful workshop in which office holders of 5 cities and towns namely Depalpur, Renala Khurd, Hujra Shah Muqeem, Basirpur and Haveli Lakha.
PAT Okara chapter took out a rally to protest the non-provision of justice in the Model Town case. The rally, which was attended by workers of PAT, religious and political parties and the members of civil society organizations, was organized as part of the Qisas movement. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding justice. They were holding banners and placards.
