Minhaj Women League (Sandwell) organised a gathering at the local mosque to celebrate the epoch-making event of Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW). The theme of the event was ‘Philosophy of Miraj-ul-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم'. Shamila and Nabila Bibi conducted the proceedings of the programme. The proceedings started off with recitation of the Holy Quran recited by sister Aamina. A couple of Nasheeds were recited by a couple of the attendees.

After anxiously waiting, the keynote speaker, Mrs. Ghazala Hassan Qadri, was then called on stage to give her speech on the topic of ‘Islam, Peace and Violence’. Her speech was specifically targeted towards the youth in the Muslim community. In the light of recent events, her topic was relevant to the current events pertaining to Muslims and global issues. She began by categorically condemning the actions of terrorist groups and organization like Al-Qaeeda, ISIS, Boko Haram and Taliban.
PAT letter bearing 10,000 signatures dispatched to WTO
On Monday 20th of April a Halqa-e-Durood gathering was held at Sister Shanaz's house in Smethwick. The programme started with the recitation from the Glorious Quran, followed by Nasheeds recited by a few sisters who attended. Sister Shanaz delivered a talk based on Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's book 'Maloomate Milaad'. About 12 ladies attended this gathering. The programme finished with Dua.
Allama Haroon Abbasi explained the need for the program organized in association with Minhaj Welfare Foundation and requested MQI Rochdale and all its forums to participated in the arrangements and attend this program. The executives present gave a very positive response and commitment to support the program. They also advised that MWF should be asked to provide costs of individual sponsorship options that the public could be encouraged to consider, such as water pumps and monthly food parcels for families.
A monthly spiritual gathering was organised by Minhaj ul Quran Women League Nelson to mark ‘Giyarwee Sharif’ on the 19th of April 2015 at Minhaj ul Quran Centre Carr Road Nelson. The programme commenced with the verses from the Holy Quran. Ghulam Fatima (MWL President, Nelson), the host of the programme, welcomed the guests in her welcome address. Blessings were continuously bestowed upon the Holy Prophet (SAW) by Sister Shakila who recited a beautiful Naat Sharif called “Habiba Uchi Shaan Waalaya”.
The Welfare Wing of Minhaj ul Quran International, India, carried out relief work in past weeks in areas of Srinagar, Budgam, Anantnag, Pulwama and other places of Jammu and Kashmir and helped the families that were in trouble. As residents of Jammu and Kashmir seek to resume their lives following heavy rains in the state which rendered hundreds of people homeless, MQI J&K welfare team is also helping the displaced families rebuild their damaged homes.
On Thursday 16th April 2015, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held a monthly spiritual gathering to mark ‘Giyarveen Shareef’ for young female students who attend the education centre on a daily basis. The programme began formally with recitation of the Holy Quran by Nida Ajaz, a senior student at the centre. This was followed by Qaseedah Burdah Sharif which was recited as a group by everyone. The mehfil then continued in the usual manner with praises on the Holy Prophet (SAW) in the form of Naat Sharifs.
Sister Shamime Jan (Media Secretary MWL UK) gave updates on media reporting. The new structure of reporting was discussed and finalised. New reporting targets were finalised with all Zonal Teams. Training methods for local Media Teams were discussed and finalised with contribution and support from Zonal Teams. Social Media activities were discussed and new methods of working with Social Media were finalised. Reporting targets were set for the next quarter.

The celebration party started with the recitation of the Holy Quran which was recited by Lybah Ahmed. This was followed by praises on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) which was beautifully recited by Nida Ijaz. After this, a short Dua was done by Nimra Khan. She prayed for the success and accomplishments of the students and also to increase the knowledge of students, the good health of the teachers, and also for the long and healthy life of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Special Dua was made for the people in Pakistan, and for the betterment of the situation in the country.
Sister Ghulam Fatimah stressed on the importance of celebrating Gyarvi Sharif in her informative speech and also discussed the life, high status and blessings of the Great Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA). The endless struggle and works of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri were also stressed during the programme and how their aims are to promote religious harmony, peace and love amongst mankind. Sister Gazalla read a Manqabat about the countless blessings of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) followed by a beautiful Naat read by Sister Maria praising the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Australia: Monthly Halqa-e-Durood Program
On the 4th April 2015 Minhaj Women League (Derby) organized a spiritual gathering to mark ‘Gyaarvi Sharif.’ The Mehfil took place at the Iklas Centre at 4 pm. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by lecture on CD by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. The speech was listened to attentively for 15 minutes. The event was attended by 40 women and 10 children. A Hamd and many Naats were recited. Some Naats were complemented by the Duff which many Sisters were attracted to and fascinated by.
Sister Rukhsana Iqbal (MWL Midlands Halqa Durood Co-ordinator) delivered a speech in Urdu on how to polish our hearts with zikr, namaz, fasting and other acts of worship. Furthermore, she elaborated on how important it is to do ‘esaley-swaab’ for our families, friends and our fellow Minhaj Sisters and brothers. She talked about how water pumps are ‘Sadaqa Jariyah’ for people who do not have access to clean drinking water, how Durood we offer helps us in our daily lives and has changed our lives for the better.
‘Spiritual Circles’ is a new event on the Minhaj-ul-Quran International Manchester calendar. On a monthly basis, the event seeks to not only engage Muslim youth in the spiritual aspects of life and religion but also in educational, social, civic, local relevant issues. Friday 3rd April saw them gather for the first time in the mosque. Amongst whom were students, professionals, teachers and artists.
