Skipper of Pakistan National Hockey Team, Muhammad Rehan Butt visited Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on the 30th May 2007. He was given a warm welcome at the occasion. He met Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Nazim-e-Aala Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He welcomed him for his first visit. He introduced him with Shaykh-ul-Islam and his mission to change the destiny of the Muslim Ummah. He further told him that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is working to promote peace and harmony round the globe.
The opening ceremony of www.MinhajBooks.com was held at Minhaj Internet Bureau in the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on the 12th April 2007. Sahibzada Hussain Mohy-ud-Din was the chief guest of the ceremony. Abdul Sattar Minhajian, Deputy Director Minhaj Internet Bureau, Basir Ahmad, Manager Multi Media, Sabir Hussain Contents Manager and Shehzad Ahmad, Web Programmer specially participated in it.
The first procession of the representatives of Minhajians was held at Sharia College on the 24th may 2007. Allama Shaykh-ul-Hadith presided over it. A well-known jurist of national repute and religious scholar, Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazaravi, Prof. Nawaz Zafar and Mian Muhammad Abbas also participated in it. In this procession the representatives of Minhajians from the session 1991 to 2006 participated.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Multan workers convention was held at District Council Hall Multan under the presidency of Peer Syed Tahir Saeed Kazimi. He is a well known and famous intellectual and religious scholar of Multan and the son of Syed Ahmad Saeed Kazmi, the Ghazli of present era, and exalted spiritual personality of his time.
A delegation of British High Commission Islamabad and Foreign and Common Wealth Office visited the various departments at the headquarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran and met the Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). After that the Secretary General Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi briefed the delegation on the educational, welfare, inter-faith services of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Also, he informed them of the efforts of MQI for global peace and harmony in detail. The Secretary General outlined Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's worldwide efforts for propagating Islam and uplifting the poor and the needy in society. During the briefing those present were the vice-president of the Tehreek Brig (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, director Foreign Affairs GM Malik and some other leaders of MQI.
By the Blessings and Mercy of Allah Almighty, on 20th May 2007, at the conference hall, Central Secretariat Minhaj-ul-Quran International, a women co-ordination council meeting was held by the Central Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan. All of the tanzimaat (branches) came from near and far areas of Pakistan.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League and Mustafvi Students Movement held incredibly purposeful conference in Sargodha known as city of Hawks. Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbassi, Nazim-e-Aala Minhaj-ul-Quran International, presided over the conference. Sajid Mehmood Bhatti, Nazim Youth League was the chief guest of the conference. Among the honorable guests, there were Bilal Ahmad Mustafvi, Chaudary Zaheer Ahmad Gujjer, and central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
The present spiritual head of the Chishti Order, from the holy City of Ajmair, revered Syed Sarwar Chishti visited Minhaj-ul-Quran International on the 15th May, 2007. Sahibzada Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Amir Tehreek, Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbassi, Naim-e- Aala, Senior Naib Amir-e-Tehreek, Syed Khalil-ur-Rehman Chishti, Ali Ghuzanfar Krarvi, G. M. Malik, Dr. Shahid Mehmood, Javid Iqbal Qadri and many other central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International gave a warm welcome to the honourable guest. There were roses, roses on his way with myrtle mixed in them. They also garlanded him for his majesty and kind favour that he separated few moments from his precious time and honour Minhaj-ul-Quran International with his presence. He met Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbassi who gave him a detailed briefing over the achievements of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and its cause and objectives. After the briefing, he was led to the different departments of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Gosha-e-Durood to give him a broad picture of the mission and services of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
To achieve all this Amir MQI-Norway respectable Allama Hassan Mir Qadri has Started a Training course on 18th May, 2007 for the affiliates and the members of MQI Oslo Norway. In his lecture he told, that Minhaj ul Quran International was set up in 1981, by one of the greatest scholars of Islam, Hazoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, under the spiritual guidance of Hazoor Pir Sahib Syedna Tahir Alaaudin Al-Qadri Al-Gilani(RA) in Pakistan. Minhaj-ul-Quran International is actively engaged in propagating the true message of Islam at local and international level. It is a non governmental organization attracting people of all ages and walks of life.
The monthly religious and spiritual gathering of Gosha-e-Durood was held on the 3rd May at central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman, Ameer-e-Tehreek, Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Nazim-e-Aala, well known Islamic jurist, Abdul Qayyum Hazaravi, G M Malik, Nazim of the department of foreign affairs, Haji Muhammad Salim Qadri, Haji Muhammad Riaz, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Ameer-e- Punjab, Allama Noor uzamman Qadri, Shakil Ahmad Tahir, Sajjad-ul-Aziz participated in the programme.
Alhamdulillahi Taala on Wednesday 16th May 2007, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson held a Mosque Open Day for the general public as well as members of the council. The event was the first of its kind in the Pendle area to build meaningful bridges between diverse communities, improving dialogue and understanding. The project was part of an ongoing series of community cohesion events and included exhibitions and presentations from Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), Minhaj Welfare Foundation UK (MWF), East Lancs Community Action Projects (ELCAP), Pendle Community Radio (PCR) and Thinkers Forum UK, who also sponsored the event.
On 10th May 2007 the Minhaj ul Quran Women's League, by the Grace of Allah Almighty and mercy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) arranged a Women Workers Convention which was held in the conference hall of the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Lahore.

The luminous star of the world of spiritualism, Hazrat Sayyadina Tahir Alla-ud-Din (May Allah raise the status of his soul with every passing moment)'s youngest son Hazrat Sayyadina Muhammad Zia-ud-Din Algillani visited the abode of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Mohammad Tahri-ul-Qadri, the founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, on the 12th of April 2007. Sahabzada Husain Mohay-ud-Din Qadri, representative of youth and member Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Sahabzada Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Peer Khalil-ur-Rehman Chishti, Naib Amir-e-Tehreek, G M Malik, Al-Haaj Muhammad Saleem Qadri, Hafiz Amin-ud-Din, Shehzad Rasool Qadri, Chief Organizer of Bazm-e-Qadria Pakistan. Before that he was given a warm well come at his arrival at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
Sahibzada Sufi Mohammad Mussrat Nawaz, the present spiritual head of Aastana-e-Aaliya "Hoon Sharif" joined Minhaj Religious Scholars Forum. He announced his joining at the occasion of the lecture delivered on the Holy Quran is held in Hamdard Hallon 23rd April.
The Minhaj Youth League of Glasgow in collaboration with the Minhaj Women League organised a Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) programme which attracted over three hundred females. The programme began with Sister Ruhi, president of the Women League of Minhaj-ul-Quran, welcoming the attendees, and then followed by Sister Tasmia Younas (ICIS graduate) who recited Surah Rahman and translated this into Urdu and English to cater for the youth and the older audience. Throughout the programme the Minhaj Naat Council of Glasgow recited greetings and salutations upon the Holy Prophet (saw) as well as reading beautiful Nasheeds in various styles which was enjoyed and appreciated by the audience.
Alhamdulillahi Ta'ala by the Grace of Almighty Allah, the Blessings of Rasoolullah Salallahu alayhi wa'sallam and fayz of Huzoor Sayyedi Shaykh-ul-Islam on Sunday 8th April the sisters of the Muslim Youth League (MYL) Nelson organised a Mawlid Conference to celebrate the birth of Allah's Most Beloved Messenger Sallallahu 'alayhi wa salim. Sisters gathered from Nelson, Burnley, Brierfield, Accrington, Manchester and Oldham.
Chief Executive Minhaj University Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhamad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a special lecture to the students. Sahabzada Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Nazim-e-Aala Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Col (R) Muhammad Ahmad, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, Shaykh-ul-Hadith Allama Muhammad Mehraj-ul-Islam, Prof Muhammad Nawaz Zafar, Prof Abbas Nuqshbandi and many other lecturers and professors attended his lecture.
The annual workers convention of Minhaj-ul-Quran international was held at Minhaj Park, in front of Central Secretariat of MQI on the 8th of April 2007. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the convention. Thousands of workers, members, local and district leaders from all the four provinces of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir attended the conventions.
