On Sunday 24th April 2005, during the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the Minhaj Muslim Sisters youth League along with participants from the Minhaj Womens League by the grace of Almighty Allah (Subhana wa ta'ala) and the mercy of the Holy Prophet (Sallallaho alaihi wa salim) organised a fantastic mawlid conference in praise and rememberance of the Holy Prophet (Sallallaho alahi wa salim)'s divine and holy birth.
As always everyone awaits the blessed month of Rabi-ul-awal to come so that once again it can be known to everyone what this blessed month has brought to us, of course the biggest creation of all, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw). The Mehfils of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in Glasgow started on 21st of April until 17th of May, Alhumdulillah altogether we had over 40 mehfil's where some of the days consisted of two mehfil's at different venues, one in the morning and one in the evening.
The birth of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is such a Blessing of Allah subhana wata ala to the universe that the more the Ummah rejoices and thanks Allah subhana wata allah for this great Blessing, it still seems inadequate. The Holy Quran is full of verses commanding Muslims to remember, to rejoice and to celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as an 'Eid' spending as much as possible in the process.
On the 17th April 2005 under the Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Naqeeba system, Halifax organized a program to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (saw).Alhumdulilah, the true message of Milad un Nabi (peace be upon Him and His family) and of Minhaj-Ul-Quran was beautifully and powerfully conveyed to the audience of over 500 sisters (record breaking attendance!) in Halifax, Central Madni Masjid Educational Centre through the deliverance of excellent speeches and touching naaths.
An Imam Azam Conference on, Imam Azam Imam-ul-Aimma fil Hadith, was held at the head quarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Lahore, in which Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave an historic lecture stemming from several months of research in which he proved that Imam Azam Abu Hanifa is the Imam of Hadith of all imams of Hadith including Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, Imam Tirmizi, Imam Abu Dawood, Imam Nasai etc.
On the 13th of March the Minhaj-ul-Qur`an Women League and Sisters League, France had the honour of presenting their monthly programme to the Muslim community living in France. Alhumdulilah not only Pakistani sisters, but many Mauritian sisters attended these programmes to enlighten their hearts with the remembrance of Allah Subhana wa Ta`ala and His Beloved Prophet (Peace be upon him).
A ceremony was held on 06-03-2005 (Sunday) at Dadhwa Basra Daska (Sialkot) for the opening foundation of free Ambulance Services by Minhaj Welfare Foundation. The prominent personalities of the area apart from the public of Dadhwa Basra, participated in this Ceremony. Among the participants the names of Ch. Mumtaz Ali. MPA PP 129, Mr. Anwar King, Nazim UC, Mr. Ashraf Naeem Nazim U.C, Khawaja Atif Raza representative Daily Jang, President Minhaj Welfare Dadhwa Basra, Mr. Mirza Azeem of Bandhan Marriage Hall, Daska, Mr. Abdul Rahman Bhatti former President PAT Norway, Mr. Safdar Butt Naib Nazim TMQ South Korea and Mr. Aslam Qadri Head of MWS Tehsil Daska were the prominent guests. The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Qur`an and Na`t of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa`Aalihi Wasallam. Mohtaram Sana Ullah Rabbani, the learned scholar of Jamia Islamia Minhaj ul Qur`an spoke on the theme of the great martyrdom of Imam Hussain Razi Allah hu Ta`Ala Unhu and gave the message of Minhaj ul Qur`an Welfare Society commendably. Mr. Sajid Bhatti addressed the audience and gave an introduction of Minhaj ul Qur`an Society throwing light on various projects which are underway with specific reference to the relief goods for the victims of Tsunami disaster and the affecters of rain and snow storms, giving details of the relief activities.
Peer Ameen-ul-Hasnaat had personally come to Shaykh-ul-Islam to invite him to attend the annual Urs of Zia-ul-Ummat Pir Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari, as the chief guest and the main speaker. Shaykh-ul-Islam accepted the invitation and will be attending the Urs on the 2nd of March 2005 (20th Muharram) at Baihrah Sharif.
By the Grace of Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He) and the blessings of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), hundreds of women, men and youth, gathered together in a community centre in the heart of the Muslim community in Halifax, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (may Allah be well pleased with him and his father). The date was the 10th Muhurrum, the Day of Ashura.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, Minhaj Internet Bureau is launching the most modern and contemporary online translation of the Holy Qur'an, Irfan-ul-Quran on the 55th birthday, 19th Feb. 2005, of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Irfan-ul-Quran has the honour of being the first online Unicode Urdu translation of the Holy Quran. Here readers can read the Holy Quran and Irfan-ul-Quran in 22 different methods. This web provides the facility of extensive search in the Quranic text and translation in Arabic, Urdu and Roman Script.
On 25th of January 2005 at Bari Imam, first women welfare camp (Eid packages) was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran women league welfare society Islamabad for women who were deserving, widows and orphans. There were also some handicapped men. The packages were distributed among three hundred women, which cost about Rs.70,000/- and contained. Flour, rice, sugar, grains, vermicelli packets, ghee, clothes and jewllary. All arrangements were struggled by Nazima Welfare MWL Gulnaz with her co-executive team. The most important thing was that, no political or social personality or none of the NGO was involved in any aspect. All funds and other things were collected by the workers theirselves within a month.
The founding brick of society is the family that commences with the wedlock of two individuals a man and women. It has thus assumed a religions, moral and cultural obligation for human begins to enter into the bond of marriage and raise a family contributing to the progression of humanity.
RADIO RAMADHAN Walsall-103.6FM It is with the blessings of Allah Almighty and His beloved Rasool Muhammad (saw) that for the second year running Minhaj ul Quran Walsall team have been granted the license to broadcast Radio Ramadhan.
Canadian High Commissioner Margaret Huber, Deputy Chief Officer Mission Stuart Huges and Staff officer Aized Ali visited Minhaj-ul-Quran International on Friday and met the founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran at his residence. Nazim-e-Aala Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, G.M. Malik, Dawood Hussain Mash'hadi, Agha Murtaza Poya, Ali Ghazanfar Krarvi, Captain Ali & other leaders of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran received the Canadian delegation who visited the College of Shariah & Islamic Studies (COSIS), Tehfeez-ul-Qur`an Institute, Minhaj Higher Secondary School, Minhaj College for Women and The Minhaj University. During this visit, Margaret Huber appreciated the Minhaj Education Network. She said that Qadri's services in this regard are really appreciate able & he is undoubtedly doing a lot for education.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is a famous and popular Pakistani religious and political leader who shocked the nation with his surprise resignation as a Member of the National Assembly. This move no doubt multiplied his popularity as the public finally saw some body who could shun the on going mockery and deception being carried out in the name of democracy and stand up to the dictatorship to condemn its militarization of democracy in Pakistan.
Ishq-e-Rasool (SAW) Conference was held on Sunday November 28, 2004 in the heart of Mississauga city in Canada. The conference hall was jam packed with the Ashqan-e-Rasool ( Lovers of the Holy Prophet SAW).
