In the last week of December 2003 a powerful earthquake rocked the city of Bam in Iran. Within only 14 seconds thousands ofpeople were buried under the flattened homes and destroyed buildings. Minhaj Welfare Foundation immediately launched an emergency appeal for the victims of the earthquake. Through out the whole world. Many Muslims, specially the members of Minhaj Ul Quran came forward and donated whole heartedly for the victims of their Muslim brothers. A delegation of Minhaj Welfare Foundation including Mr Ali Reza Rizvi , Secretary Information and Mr Dawood Hussain Mashhadi ,the Director for the Department of Foreign Affairs of Minhaj Ul Quran International went to Iran to distribute the aid package to the victims of the Earthquake which was donated by the donners of MWFMr Ali Reza Ghalibaph, President Minhaj Ul Quran International Iran received the delegation of MWF at the Mashed International Airport.
Natioanl level politician, Member National Assembly, son of Late General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Mr. Ejazul-Haq called on Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on 7th September 2003. He joined Minhaj-ul-Quran International and got Life-Membership of Minhaj-ul-Quran.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, The founder leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran visited the IMQ office London on 26th July 2003. He had a meeting with the executive of Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran, Minhaj Welfare foundation UK, Minhaj Women League and Minhaj Youth League. He discussed the organizational matters of the organization and its sub-organizations. He also discussed the problems of the Muslim community in the UK. He asked the Minhaj Members and Office bearers to try their best the problems of Muslims.

A mass prayer gathering for Peace held for the Iraqi people and an end to war. Attended by all the large Islamic organizations in Denmark this event was arranged by Minhaj-ul-Quran Denmark, Muslim Youth league DK and other forums as well. This event was held outside the main town square in Copenhagen. About 4,000 people attended the peace meeting.
Eid-ul-Adha is a charity (blessing) from Allah Almighty. It is a day of celebration and remembrance of Allah Almighty. Not all of us however are in a position to enjoy this day, and it is the duty of the fortunate, lucky & happy among us to help those less fortunate. Your donation helps twice by feeding the poor who often have not eaten fresh meat in many months and generate an income by selling animal skins for the promotion and development of Education Projects.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International arranged a Youth Conference on a very germane topic, viz. "Renouncing Terror, Regaining Peace: The Future of Religion", at Aston University in Birmingham. About 600 mainly students were gathered in the Great Hall to listen to speakers from very diverse backgrounds.
Punjab Housing and Physical Planning Minister Syed Ali Raza Gillani visited the offices of Pakistan Awami Tehreek. He also met PAT chief Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri and shared his views with him on the current political situation. Raza Gillani visited the offices of Minhaj ul Quran and said he was satisfied that the land given to the institution for educational purpose was being used for the same purpose.
President Tehreek-e-Minhaj ul Quran Iran Mr. Ali Raza Ghalibaaf Kharasani called upon Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri at Model Town Secretariat Lahore. Chief Organizer Rana Iqbal Ahmed Khan and Hassan Mohiuddin were also present at the occasion.
Minhaj-ul-Quran UAE, in collaboration and cooperation with other Pakistani professional organizations, are actively participating in the community welfare events and activities for the benefit of Pakistani Community. Especially we are closely working with MEPV (Middle East Placement Volunteers) and Pakistan IT Forum -- voluntary organizations working to help newly arrived Pakistanis to find suitable job placements.
Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Shevchenko Eduard called on Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence Monday and discussed matters of mutul interest. Other party leaders were also present on the occasion. The PAT leaders briefed the visiting envoy about various activities of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran.
