There is a great project being carried out by members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) in Lahore, which can also be carried out else where. Members and supporters of MQI and PAT in Lahore, have been working on getting the lectures of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on various cable channels which operate in Lahore. Presently lectures are aired on Lahore Cable channels daily, with lectures of Qaid Inqilab being shown on several channels simultaneously.
A welcome reception was held at the central secretariat for three distinguished servants of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) who have taken up new key posts. Allama Safdar Majeed former Ameer MQI Spain and Allama Rana Idrees former Ameer MQI London, on the call of their beloved leader left their perspective prestigious jobs and came to Pakistan to work at the Central Secretariat of MQI.
As you are aware the Holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is approaching. This is the holiest month which carries greatest blessings of Almighty Allah as the Holy Prophet (SAW) was born on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. All Muslims who love him most dearly await for the birthday of the last Prophet of Allah with all their heart and soul.
This year Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) is breaking all past records in the celebration of Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW). On the night of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal beside the International Mawlid Conference, a Grand Mawlid Dinner is also being arranged in Minar-e-Pakistan Park Lahore, which will cater for 150,000-200,000 people. Reviving the custom of Past Muslim Scholar, Sheikh`s and pious Rules the Grand Mawlid Dinner will be a great step forward in celebrating Mawlid in the way it truly should be.

Jhang Election: A Message to All Minhaj-ul-Quran Sisters
By the Grace of Allah Subhanahu wa Tala the celebration of eid Milad un-Nabi (SAW) was carried out in the form of milad fm (radio), mehfils and a procession was carried out.
Despite the ongoing election campaign in Jhang, Pakistan, the Minhaj-ul-Quran sisters are also actively doing Islamic Dawah work side by side. In over two thirds of the city they have established Minhaj-ul-Quran women leagues. Teams have been created who will oversee Islamic activities through the city for the women. They will be involved in setting up regular Islamic study circles, Darse Quran classes and regular Mehfils.
The Annual International Mawlid Conference was held on the grounds of the Minar-e-Pakistan. It is held annually to welcome the morning of the Birth of the Mercy to the Universe, Prophet Muhammad SAW. The conference began after Isha Prayer with recitations of the Holy Quran by renowned Qaris of Pakistan followed by praise to the Prophet SAW sang by world famous singers of Hamd, praise to the Prophet SAW, Islamic songs/Nasheeds. Introductory lectures were also given by central leaders of MQI.
Ex-Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Afzal Hayat visited the Central Secretariat, Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran on the invitation of Duryab Yousuf Hashmi, President PAT (Punjab). He also met Ameer Tehreek Sahibzada Miskeen Faiz-ur-Rehman.
The I`tikaf is the annual ten day seclusion which takes place in the last ten days of the Holy Month of Ramadhan. This practice is optional for Muslims and can be performed alone or collectively. It is an advance form of self purification and spiritual uplift which takes the performer into a domain which is not in the scope of fasting which is a lower form of this spiritual venture.

The Annual International Spiritual Conference on the 27th of Ramadhan at the Itikaf city took place on Wednesday. There were phenomenal amounts of people attending it which were at minimum twice the number that attended last year; this was in addition to those who were sitting the itikaf.

Dr.Tahir-ul-Qadri the founder of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran and chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek reached homeland with the hundreds of their companions after performing HAJJ yesterday.
A meeting of Central Working Council of Tehreek Minhaj ul Quran was held and chaired by its Patron in Chief Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri. The Council appointed Mr. GM Malik as Principal Secretary. GM Malik will also work as spokesman of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek. He was formerly Nazim e Ala Tehreek Minhaj ul Quran, Secretary General Pakistan Awami Tehreek and held other important assignments in Tehreek Minhaj ul Quran and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
The birth of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is such a Blessing of Allah subhana wata ala to the universe that the more the Ummah rejoices and thanks Allah subhana wata allah for this great Blessing, it still seems insufficient. The Holy Quran is full of verses commanding Muslims to remember, to rejoice and to celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as an Eid spending as much as possible in the process.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the nikah ceremony of Jawed Iqbal Tahiri at Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran London. It was a great function which was illuminated due to the presence of Shaykh-ul-Islam. Mr Hassan Muhyuddin Qadri accompanied Shaykh-ul-Islam together with Mr Hammad Mustafa Qadri.
Hazrat Farid-e-Millat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri (R.A) was born in 1918 in Jhang. His forefathers belonged to the Mahni Sial family that lived in Khiva village located on the Chiniot Road, Jhang. The name of his father was Mian Khuda Bakash. He had three sons namely Muhammad Tahir, Muhammad Javed and Muhammad Tariq. His elder son Muhammad Tahir came to be known as Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
