During the intervening night of the 9th and 10th of holy month of Muharram, a ‘Paygham-e-Imam Hussain (alayhi s-salām)’ Conference was in Lahore held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. This initiative to hold daily mahafil came from the younger brothers of Minhaj-ul-Quran, who are from the age of 14 to 18 years old. MQI welcomes cabinet’s decision for introduction of uniform curriculum
President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that we welcome the federal cabinet’s decision to introduce the uniform curriculum and medium of instruction in the educational institutions. It is hoped that the new government will utilize all resources to fulfill this overdue national responsibility. Dr Hussain made these remarks while addressing annual assembly of Minhaj Education Society in Al-Hamrah hall Lahore.

Three more eye-witnesses record their statement in anti-terrorism court
Haji Muhammad Tufail, Haseeb Akbar and Qamar Habib, eye-witnesses of Model Town tragedy, recorded their statement in the private complaint filed by Minhaj-ul-Quran. They stated in front of the judge of anti-terrorism court that the police cordoned off residence and the secretariat of MQI on June 17, 2014.
