Condemning the police high-handedness and removal of barricades from the approaches leading to central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the government, gripped by fear of his arrival, is harassing his workers. He said that police was doing illegal things as a mark of revenge, adding that such terrorist acts could not stop revolution. He said we were peaceful people and still wanted to stay peaceful but the rulers, nonplussed as they were, had resorted to devious tactic.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (France chapter) organized a ceremony for ‘Esal-e-Sawab’ of late mother of ARY anchor Dr Danish at MQI Cultural Centre on June 8. MQI leaders and workers attended the ceremony in large number. Malik Shabbir Ahmad, Salman Aslam, Tanvir Gulzar, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, Bilal Butt, Sifyan Ahmad, Umair Ashfaq, Zaheer Abbas Gujjar, Hafiz Iqbal Azam and others were also present. PAT central President Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz was also present at the occasion.
Throwing light on the broad contour of next and decisive phase of revolutionary struggle, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it was a ‘moment to do or die’. He said that current system in vogue in Pakistan protected the interests of the big business, industrialists, land lords and capitalists, adding that this system would have to be sent packing to usher in an era of people’s prosperity. He said that threatened by the surge of people’s power, the moneyed classes had unleashed their pen pushers who were out to defame the revolutionary movement, adding that all their efforts would come to naught.
Pakistan needs credible, honest and competent leadership to respond to global challenges, threats and opportunities. PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri stated this while talking to Lord Nazir Ahmad and Lord Qurban Hussain, members of the British House of Lords during their meeting with him. Matters of mutual interest and fast changing conditions of the region came under discussion during the meeting.
MWL UK Executive team’s quarterly meeting was held on May 26, 2014 to review its activities at executive and local levels. The meeting was the first to have taken place since the restructuring of MWL UK in June 2013. The agenda included discussion and approval of the New Working Plan for 2014/15.
On May 26, 2014 (Monday), a beautiful evening was celebrated in remembrance of the Journey of Mi’raj-un- Nabi (SAW) at the main center of Minhaj-ul-Quran Houston, USA. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Imran Danka.
Mi’raj-un-Nabi is a great gift for the Muslims. It was the most blessed journey of human history during the night of Ascent. Even to this date, human mind has failed to comprehend the essence of the ‘Miracle of Mi’raj'. It is the highest honor, which no other prophet or man ever had, bestowed to our beloved Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) to personally be in the company of Almighty Allah.
Miraj-ul-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) conference was organized in Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center on May 25th by Minhaj ul Quran International. The timing of the program was from 6 to 9 pm. The conference started by the recitation of Holy Quran by Mohammad Sharif Kamalvi and then it proceeded by reciting salutations on the Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Murad Saeed, the youngest PTI MNA in the history of Pakistan, visited the headquarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on May 23, 2014. He was accompanied by PTI President (Denmark) Mian Munir and other workers during his visit. Senior MQI Demark leader Syed Mahmood Shah, who is also from Swat, received the distinguished guests upon their arrival at the headquarters of MQI Denmark.
Dr Hasan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, attended the World Economic Forum 2014 held in Manila, Philippine. He took part in three sessions. He exchanged views with government officials, ministers, renowned leaders & presented suggestions in three of his sessions.
On 21st May 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran (Nelson) began weekly lecture sessions for young students who attend the education centre. Sister Tahira Basharat, head teacher at the education centre, invited Sister Atikah Parveen, a member of the Minhaj Youth League, and deliver short talks about a number of topics that often affect the youth of today.
Central leader of MQI Syed Farhat Hussain Shah has said that the present rulers launched a campaign to collect money from the masses and retire the country’s foreign debt but the billions of rupees so collected were used for personal aggrandizement and political objectives with no financial check and balance. He said that while the rulers thrived on the public money, the country’s debt continued to pile up.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asks Supreme Court to take notice of controversial morning show
On 17th of May 2014, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized Miraj-un-Nabi programme for women in Amager. The stage secretary was Naila Jabeen. The programme began with recitation of the Holy Quran by Saddia Noreen, whilst Samina Mir recited Hamd of Allah.
On 16th May 2014, a new MWL chapter was established in Mill Hill South London UK. The ceremony held in this connection was attended by ten 10 sisters. The program started with the Quranic recitation. President of MWL UK Fatima Mash’hadi and South London President Sister Nusrath gave a brief introduction about the halaqats.
Alhumdulillah MWL Walsall has established a weekly combined Halqa Imaan and Halqa Darood Sharif which is held on every Saturday from 4 pm to 6pm. The programme starts with short Darood recitation session. It is followed by reading of excerpts from books of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on different topics.
