The event of Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Saturday, 5th March 2011 under the auspices of Minhaj-Ul-Quran International Oslo, in which a large number of people from surrounding areas participated. The Programme started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Imam Qari Tofeeq Ahmed. He also recited a delightful ‘nashhed’ . Muhammad Wahhed Butt Noori, a renowned naat khwaan from Pakistan, recited Naat in a beautiful manner. Muhammed Milaad Raza Qadri also participated and presented some beautiful Nasheeds.
The hundreds of people participated in a demonstration held under the banner of Directorate of Interfaith Relations, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, to protest the gruesome murder of Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister of Minorities Affairs.
On the auspicious occasion of the 60th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and a leading authority on Islam in the contemporary world, speakers in a national seminar paid him glowing tribute for promotion of peace and his intellectual and scholarly services for elimination of terrorism and extremism.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Glasgow hosted a grand conference on Saturday, 27th February 2011, to celebrate and commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The Conference was presided over by President of MYL-Sisters UK who welcomed the participants wholeheartedly to Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s Centre.
Speaking on the occasion of congregational marriages, Iftikhar Shah Bokhari said that it has become next to impossible for poor parents to marry off their daughters in view of the price hike and skyrocketing inflation. He said that on the directions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, MWF has so far successfully organized 537 mass marriages.
On February 20 2011, a historic Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W.) conference was held in Madni Jamia Masjid Bradford, UK, which attracted an estimated 10,000 participants. The Milaad-e-Mustafa (S.A.W.) Conference jointly organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International (UK) and Madni Jamia Masjid was a great success as a large nuber number of participants kept turning up at the mosque the whole night in order to listen to the special guest who was none other than Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Monday, 21st February 2011, was indeed a very blessed day for the Muslim Youth League as Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri visited the Muslim Youth League UK headquarters and the Seekers Academy.
The first meeting of the women league of WAAG, Pakistan branch, was held on 15th August 2010 at the Islamabad office. Secretary General Raazia Naveed, along with members Nusrat Mueen, Shakira, Salma Farooq and Naila Jafri participated in the meeting and exchanged views discussing the best methodology to disseminate the thought of Jamia Al-Azhar in Pakistan.
A conference was held under the aegis of the National Council of the British Parliament in London, UK to think over solutions to eradicate non-violent extremism and radicalism. The seminar was addressed by Paul Goodman (Conservative Party), Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri (President WAAG, Pakistan Branch), Lyn Brown MP, Margot James MP and Maqsood Ahmed from DCLG. The audience included representatives of think tanks, police, FCO, DCLG, embassy officials and different organizations.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (USA) organized a Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference in connection with the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (SAW) in MQI centre New Jersey on February 19, 2011. A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including men, women and children attended the program.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Athens organized "Milad-e-Mustafa conference (saw)". The conference was held in Jamia Masjid Rendi Nikia in Athens at night. The event was presided over by Mr. Javeed Awan. Besides this, Dr Tanveer, Skinder Riaz Chohan and Mr. Shafique Awan were also present on the occasion. A large number of people belonging to different walks of life attended the Conference.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader of MQI and leading authority on Islam, turned 60 on February 19, 2011. His birthday was celebrated across five continents with traditional zeal and zest. The birthday ceremonies were held in over 100 countries of South Asia, Africa, North America, America, Gulf, UK and Europe where the birthday cakes were cut. Hundreds of thousands of workers started their day’s proceedings on February 19 with thanks-giving prayers and greeted one another through telephone calls, SMS and e-mails inside and outside Pakistan.
On February 18, 2011, Mustafavi Students Movement Islamabad celebrated the Quaid Day. More than 150 students, from different schools and colleges of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were present in this event. Vice President MSM Pakistan Irfan Yusuf was the chief guest of the program. The Program started with the name of Almighty Allah. Rahat Saqi beautifully recited the Holy Quran. After recitation of the Holy Quran, Faran Rasool Bajwa recited the Naat. Badar-ul-Islam was stage secretary of this program.
Dr Khawaja Muhammad Ashraf, patron of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Sindh, is presenting historic Fatwa against Terrorism authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to Falah Muhammad Al-Rohaili, Counsel General of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sohail Bin Mattar Al-Qutbi, Counsel General of United Arab Emirates, Nasir-ud-Din Al-Motari, Counsel General of Kuwait, Khamis Muhammad Al-Farsi, Counsel General of Oman, Adil Abdur Rehman Abdul Taqi, Counsel General of Bahrain, and Roofals R. Adnan, Counsel General of Indonesia. Mr. Zafar Iqbal, head of the Society for Promotion of Arabic, is also present on the occasion.
Minhaj-ul-Qur’an North America (Atlanta chapter) organized a Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia on February 11, 2011. Over 450 people belonging to different walks of life attended the Conference. The audience belonged to several different states. Muhammad Milad Mustafa Raza Qadri from the UK was the chief guest.
27th Annual International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference 2011 held successfully at the Minar-e-Pakistan Ground, Lahore Pakistan. This was a joint session of Minhaj-ul-Quran UK and Pakistan. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed hundreds of thousands of people across the globe from UK through video conference. The Conference was broadcast by ARY News and webcast by many web tv channels and web radio channels.
