MQI South Africa celebrated Quaid day at Minhaj ul Quran Centre Durban. The proceedings of the birthday celebration ceremony got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Allama Ayub Tufail. Qaseda Burda Sharef was recited by Hafiz Maqsood Ahmad, whereas the Qauid-day anthem was presented by M Saeed and his companions. Allama Sadiq Qureshi Alazhari (UK) delivered his keynote speech in which he threw light on the services and contributions of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that Dr Qadri is the only renowned scholar of international standing who raised his voice against terrorism and extremism.
On the 19th February 2015, with the grace of Almighty Allah سبحانه و تعالى & through the blessings of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson organised a gathering to celebrate the 64th birthday of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Members from all the various forums of MQI Nelson, the local community and the distinguished guests were invited to be present at the Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran on Brunswick Street in Nelson to participate in the gathering. Arrangements were made for both brothers and sisters.
The programme started with recitation from the Holy Quran. Sister Amara (Dawah secretary MWL Woking) read Durood -o-Salam. Sister Madeeha Zeeshan, who is secretary general of MWL London and member of Minhaj Naat Council, read beautiful Naats with Duff. Sister Sumaiyya Murtaza (Secretary General MWL South Zone) gave a short talk on ‘Virtues of sending Durood-o-Salaam on Prophet (S.A.W.W)’. Sister Nusrat Mehmood (President MWL South zone) discussed the importance of Dawah in detail. The programme was concluded by reciting Salam.
The Quaid day event began with Quranic recitation and a heart-touching Naat at Minhaj Education Project in Halifax on Feb 19. Sister Nahid (MWL President Halifax) delivered a talk in Urdu about the contributions and services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The young children from Minhaj Sunday class did English talk on personality of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and paid him glowing tributes for his services in multiple fields. The Minhaj Youth League (Sisters) delivered English talks on Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's work and life.
On February 19, 2015, all those associated with MQI took part in birthday celebrations of PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. It was an honour for the Women League to celebrate the auspicious occasion befittingly. MWL Birmingham organized a special ceremony which started off with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Durood Sharif by Sister Rukhsana Iqbal (MWL Midlands Zone Halqa Durood Coordinator).
Quaid Day Celebration is held annually on the 19th February to celebrate our Beloved Quaid’s birthday. Every year all members are requested to fast (if possible), to offer two rakat optional prayers early morning, recite Durood Sharif 100 times, give charity and make special Dua for Shaykh-ul-Islam’s long and healthy life. Minhaj Women League and MYL-S organised a special event at Minhaj ul Quran Idara Walsall on this auspicious occasion of Quaid Day. The programme started with a beautiful Tilawaat from the Glorious Quran recited by Tehreem (MYLS).
The 64th birthday of PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is being celebrated around the world including Pakistan today with utmost simplicity. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was born on February 19, 1951 in Jhang city of Punjab. He got his early education from Jhang and higher education from Lahore. He founded Minhaj-ul-Quran International in 1981 which has a very active organizational network in over 100 countries of the world and is working to promote peace, interfaith dialogue and harmony in the world.
The gathering started with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Minhaj Youth League Nottingham’s Co-ordinator Sister Imra Hussain, followed by some Nasheeds from the audience. A speech about Shaykh-ul-Islam was given by MWL Nottingham’s president Sister Iram Qaiser and an English speech by MWL Nottingham’s general secretary Sister Shahreen Hussain. A speech regarding the Minhaj Dawah Project was given by Minhaj Dawah Project Manager (MDP) Sister Sadia Jahanzeb.

The demonstration was taken out under the banner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Minhaj-ul-Quran International in front of Lahore Press Club to protest increasing incidence of attacks on the shrines of the saints, selective and discriminatory use of Amplifier Act and terrorists’ attack on convent of Syedna Tahir Alauddin al-Gilani in Balochistan. The hundreds of workers attended the demonstration.

Speaking on the subject of mysticism, Mrs. Razia Naveed, Secretary General of Minhaj Women Wing, said that Sufism came into being during the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and that it is not an innovation as it is supposedly made out to be. She said that Sufis are revered and blessed people whose lives are dedicated to the service of humanity without any discrimination of caste, colour, creed and race.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Victoria) organized the 4th JASHNE Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference at Preston Town Hall, Preston, Melbourne Australia on 7th of February 2015. The proceedings of the Conference (SAW) got underway with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Naat and Nasheeds were presented by MQI kids Nasheed group and Umati kids Nasheed group.
By the Grace of Almighty Allah and the blessings of His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Minhaj-ul-Quran International London held the Annual ‘Giyarveen Shareef Mehfil’ commemorating the life of Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Gilani al-Baghdadi (RA). The proceedings of the programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Hafiz Asim Shabbir followed by salutations upon the Prophet (SAW) and ‘manqabat; by students from Minhaj School of Sciences (MSIS).
