ISLAMABAD: Those who kill Pakistani soldiers and citizens mercilessly, they must be crushed and rooted out with full force, said PAT Chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in SAMAA current affairs show Nadeem Malik Live on Thursday. Dr Qadri expressed his views over terrorism including acts of violence, and killings of the soldiers and innocent people on name of Islam by the extremists and militants in Pakistan, during special interview in SAMAA program Nadeem Malik Live this day.
During his visit to Karachi, President of MQI’s Supreme Council, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri paid a visit to Jamia-tul-Minhaj Tahfeez-ul-Quran and provincial secretariat of MQI Sindh in Jamia Masjid Rehmania. He was conducted to school, library, hostel and secretariat offices and given an extensive briefing about the College and MQI Sindh Secretariat. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri appreciated the dedication of the staff members, teachers, and workers of MQI Sindh.
In reply to a question of Mubasher Lucman, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the country had suffered a staggering loss of $ 78 billion due to terrorism. He said that Pakistan was at the second position in terms of terrorism throughout the world and top-rated country among the nations affected by terrorism. He said that the so-called dialogue process launched by the government with the Taliban was indefinite, which did not have any time-frame.

On 24th of February 2014, central body of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Islamabad chapter visited a beautiful village named ‘GOKEENA’ to celebrate the Quaid Day with the local body of MWL. After the Quranic recitation and naat, Director of MWL Gokeena welcomed office holders of MWL Islamabad. She threw light on the contributions and services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
On February 24, Minhaj -ul- Quran Women League held a meeting in connection with restructuring MWL chapter at District Office located at Chandni Chowk, Rawalpindi. MWL workers from across the Rawalpindi City attended the meeting. The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a Naat in the honour of the Prophet (PBUH).

President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Women League UK Mrs. Fatima Mash'hadi held a meeting with MWL London. This meeting was held on 23rd of February 2014 at Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre London. The aim of the meeting was to support and educate the MWL London on the roles and responsibilities of each individual in the local chapter. The discussion also went into how the MWL can play an important role in the community to bring a positive change in them.
The Nelson chapter of Minhaj-ul-Quran International organized a spiritual gathering to mark the occasion of ‘Gyarveen Sharif’ on February 23. Mrs. Nasreen Akhtar and Tahira Basharat made arrangements of the ceremony. The gathering commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran by sister Nasreen who is a teacher at Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson.
PAT President Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz and Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur have said that the government has no concern for the state, people and the armed forces; rather what it cares the most about is its political interest. They said that the national honour demanded that the day the news of killing of 23 FC personnel came, the Prime Minister would have ended dialogue and declared the launch of military operation against the terrorists. They said that the rulers made the nation hang their head in shame. PAT condemns this insensitivity and lack of conscience of the government.

On 21st February 2014, the Muslim Youth League – Sisters in Nelson held an event to celebrate the life and work of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which added to the weeklong events of Quaid day celebrations.
By the Grace of Almighty Allah and the blessings of His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S. A. W. ), Minhaj-ul-Quran International London held Annual Giyarveen Shareef Mehfil commemorating the life of Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Gilani al-Baghdadi (RA). The proceedings of the programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Qari Muhammad Kashif followed by salutations upon the Prophet (SAW) and manqabat by QTV Naat Khawan Muhammad Shoaib Qadri and students from MSIS Abu Hassan and Ahmed Raza.
Under the direct instructions of Minhaj Women League UK, Sister Jamila Akhtar (MWL UK Finance Secretary) from Halifax organised a seminar on ‘Bibi Zainab (RA), the daughter of Hazrat Ali (RA) and Bibi Fatima (RA). The seminar began with a short Tilawat-e-Quran by Sister Jamila Akhter, followed by an introduction on the aims of the seminar being an insight into the life and lessons learned from Bibi Zainab’s life.
A prestigious ceremony of the Quaid Day was organized jointly by Bazm-e-Minhaj, Literary Society and Minhaj College for Women. The ceremony commenced with recitation of the verses from the holy Quran followed by Naat. The ceremony was presided by In-charge of Bazm-e-Minhaj, Ms. Umme Habiba.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International introduced new App for Android system on the occasion of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s birthday on February 19. This facility would have Urdu and English translations of the holy Quran by the name of ‘Irfan-ul-Quran’ and ‘The Glorious Quran’. This App is available for free download at Google Play Store.
On the 19th of February 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held birthday celebrations of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The mosque had made arrangements for children from educational centers, the Carr Road site and the Brunswick St site, to attend the proceedings.
On the 19th of February 2014, the Minhaj Women League (Burnley) held a birthday celebration in honour of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s 63rd birthday. The mehfil opened with recitation of Darood sharif upon our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until all the sisters had gathered.
PAT Chairman, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke to the Iranian national news agency, FARS. The interview focused on Islam and terrorism and the root causes of sectarianism, and the eradication of radicalism. Dr Qadri said that the different schools of thoughts within Islam should cooperate and adopt the path of moderation and peace in order to eradicate religious extremism of all kinds, and work towards Muslim unity.
