The prominent Ayatollah’s of Qom and Tehran had been requesting a special visit by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for many years. To their delight Shaykh-ul-Islam has accepted their invitation and arrived in Tehran with a 6-member delegation on Friday 14 February 2014 via Istanbul, Turkey. This visit is seen as a very important visit for establishing Peace in South Asia and establishing intra-faith relations in Pakistan and Iran. This visit will have a vital role in the future of Pakistan and its regional peace efforts.
The annual ‘Jashne Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) event’ was organised for the children of the MQI Centre, UK. After 3 months of preparation, the event was a huge success with all participants, organisers, parents and executives expressing their satisfaction with the turnout. The organisers of the event were Sister Rizwana, Sister Rehana, Sister Afshaan, Sister Saffiyah Other members of the Centre who also gave a helping hand on the day were Sister Rubina Raja, Sister Asma, Sister Rukhsana, Sister Afra, Sister Sara, Sister Samaria
Acknowledging Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s contributions for promotion of peace, interfaith dialogue and harmony and services for revival of Islam, Mr. Hashem Husseini Bushehri described him as ‘hidden treasure of Islamic world.’ He requested Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to deliver a lecture to his students which would be an honour for his educational institution. He also asked for provision of a complete set of 450 books authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to be placed in the library for benefit of students.
An important meeting took place under the leadership of Dr. Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi & Syed Abbas Bukhari (Secretary General N.E.C U.K).The aim of the meeting was to restructure the working member’s body of Minhaj-ul-Quran Blackburn.
Minhaj Women League and Sisters League France hold a spiritual gathering to mark ‘Bari Gyarween Sharif’ on the 16th of February 2013. The event was hosted to mark the ‘Urs Mubarak’ of Huzoor Ghaus Al Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilaani (RA).
UK: MYL-S Celebrates Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) in London
On Saturday 15th February 2014 the Muslim Youth League UK - Sisters (MYLUK-S) in Bradford arranged an impressive exhibition entitled “Celebrating the 63 Years of the Life of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri”. The purpose of the exhibition was to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Quaid day, the birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, and to pay an educational tribute to his life and remarkable achievements.
By the grace of Almighty Allah and the blessings of the beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), a farewell dinner in honour of Sr. Faiza Qadri was held in Mississauga Canada. The blessed event held at MWL- Canada President Sr. Razia Syeda’s house included a Milad-un-Nabi program in the evening of 14th February 2014. This event was the last event in which Sr. Faiza Qadri spoke at before moving to the USA.
The Sheffield chapter of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a gathering to celebrate Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) on February 9, 2014 at Jamia Masjid, Bodmin Street, Sheffield. The Programme, which was conducted by Shahida ul Haq, was attended by over 500 ladies.
Australia: Minhaj-ul-Quran Multicultural Mawlid Festival 2014
On the 8th of February 2014, Minhaj Women League (Denmark) held an Eid Milad-un -Nabi (PBUH) Conference. Musarat Zahoor conducted the proceedings of the programme. Hafiza Mubashira Zaheer had the honour of beginning the mehfil with the recitation of the Holy Quran, whilst Farhat Qadri recited the praises of Allah (SWT) in the form of a Hamd. Salma, Hina and Uzma showered blessing on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by reciting Naat Sharif.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri revealed that the drama of talks was enacted to hide the so-called privatization of the state-owned entities so that lid could continue to stay on such news while the privatization transactions were conducted clandestinely. He said that media spotlight and people’s attention had been manipulated to be focused on the talks with the Taliban.
On 2nd February 2014, MYL-S in Nelson organised a Nasheed Gathering in honor of our Beloved Prophet (SAW). The purpose of the spiritual gathering was to bring the youth back towards Deen and to build a relationship with the Holy Prophet (SAW) through the recitation and listening of Nasheeds.
Annual prize distribution ceremony was held in Minhaj College for Women on 1st February, 2014 with traditional enthusiasm. This ceremony is organized, every year, to acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional and outstanding performance and efforts of teachers, students and administration of the college. Moreover, faculty members are also given awards for their remarkable performance throughout the year.
UK: MQI (Birmingham) celebrates Milad-un-Nabi (SAW)
Sandwell's Women League organised a Mawlid event on Sunday 1st February 2014 to celebrate the birth of the best of all creations, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. A warm welcome to the sisters was given by Sister Naheed (MWL President of West Midlands). She also conducted the proceedings of the programme. The event started by a beautiful recitation of the Quran by Sister Aisha. Naats were recited by a group of children.
Dr Raheeq Abbasi went on to say, MQI is working for promotion of interfaith dialogue, peace and harmony in the world. He said that these ingredients were core of the Islamic message. He said that none can harm or damage MQI because of its ideology, vision and promotion of love, knowledge and peace throughout the globe between all cultures and religions.
MQI (Burnley) organized the Milad gathering on the 1st of February 2014. This took place at Mrs Maqsood Begum’s house.The gathering was held to mark the occasion of birth anniversary of our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessing upon him). The stage secretary, Sabah Mazhar, opened the beautiful programme by introducing Sister Aiza Jawed to recite Surah al-Kawthar from the Holy Qur’an. Sister Sabah went on to narrate a beautiful Hadith on the importance of celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings upon him).
UK: MWL (London) holds ‘Halq-e-Imaan'
PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that if the state enters into a dialogue with the terrorists on the basis of equality, it will be incompetence and failure of the government. He said that if the terrorists laid down their arms first, adopted peaceful path and put forward demands in the form of dialogue, it was responsibility of the government to listen to them. He said that rightful demands should be accepted while unjustified ones should be rejected. He said that conducting negotiations with the terrorists before breaking their back was not in accordance with the Holy Quran and Sunna.
